I found the answer now, right after posting. This fixed both pan in Autocad
and Inventor as well as dbl click to zoom extends in Autocad. Phu!

I'm a sucker for new gizmos, so I now have the new MX Revolution thingy from
Logitech in my palm.
Well guess what, with two scroll wheels at your disposal, you are not able
to make one of them go pan in Autocad or Inventor. I've tried setting the
"normal" wheel to autoscroll and middle button and every other setting I
could find, but no luck.
I now there has been some issues earlier with Logitech mice and pan, but I
believe I've tried all solutions now.
If anyone know a solution to the revolution I would be very happy.
I had also hoped the thumb wheel colud be set to whatever you want, but this
has only a zoom function and program switch.
Still not 100% optimal ergonomics in my opinion, but the best so far.
Battery capasity is very poor from what I can tell from my limited use til
now.
