Graphics Card Requirements

Iam looking to buy a new graphics card for my pc and was looking in to the AMD Radeon HD 7970 Graphics Card (3gb, GDDR5, HDMI, DVI-I, PCI-Express 3.0). I have seen that it is not on your recommeded liat, but would it still be suitable to use with Revit 2013 and AutoCAD 2013?
