I am trying to move a surface group to a new group. When I right-click on the surface node and pick "Move to Group".... what do I do next?
I am wanting it to go to the "Panel" component, so I picked that, but nothing happened.
What am I missing?
Solved! Go to Solution.
What happens if you just drag and drop the Unstitched surfaces to Panel:1 right in the browser?
Hope that helps. Let me know if it doesn't.
Normally, for Fusion 360 surface groups, a dialog would appear and you would be prompted to pick another group to move the surfaces into. However, your images all show Inventor Fusion which is a different product than Fusion 360. The two are related and some functions will be very similar.
Inventor Fusion puts unstitched groups into closed folders. You'll see that you cannot expand the folder to show any quilts. One of the options in the menu showing is to stitch the surfaces in the Unstitched folder. If Stitch is successful, you will see a Quilt body appear. This can be dragged into the Panel component.

Thanks guys for the help, but I think I am in the wrong forum... Should be in the Inventor Fusion forum.
However, I was able to stitch it together and then move it like Phil said.
