Moved from SketchUp? How are you doing with Fusion?

I can see Fusion is way more powerful than SU, but I don't find it as intuitive

How has anyone else got on learning Fusion?

Hi Dean,

Have you tried going through the tutorials?  http://fusion360.autodesk.com/resources

If these are not working for you, do you have any suggestions to improve this?

Thanks,

Andy

I wanted to add that you may check out the Fusion 360 youtube channel.

There's a few 'get started' and 'quick tips' that may be a good kick start.

Thanks,

Hi

Ive looked at the tips and videos and i'm getting there, but I just wanted to see how any SU users were adapting to Fusion, which has a far steeper learning curve

Have you ever used SU, please let me know what you think of it, I think there are a lot of little details you could use

Saying that I can see the power Fusion has allbeit more difficult to use

I've done sketchup a lot and think Fusion isn't that much harder to learn. Of course you've got to learn again and fusion doesn lots of things different to sketchup but i saw the advantages of fusion really early so my motivation was high to find my way in.

I've already discussed some topics here, in the idea station and on the tuesday hangouts how Fusion360 could improve compared to Sketchup and other tools and i have a strong feeling that the team listens to this input and takes it into account for further development.

If you've got something that you're missing from sketchup and like to see in Fusione360 just put a post in the idea forums and find others to give you kudos on your idea.
