Move HUD doesn't show prior to moving

Hi,

this seems to be a bug for a while now:

When moving a component the move handles appear but the small hud where i can enter the distance and activate "reorient" doesn't show up. While the distance field infact isn't needed before moving the part into one direction and so activate this direction for further distance input the reorient button is missing.

Now i always have to move before i can reorient.

Frank,

Thanks for reporting this. I don't seem to be able to reproduce this on my Windows 7 64-bit machine. Is this on a Mac OS?

Also, have you tried using the Reset to Default Layout tool?

Perhaps this will reset the interface and get the HUD to show up....

Thanks,

actually it looks like it isn't missing completely but it's suddenly appearing on top of my windows between the buttons in the navigation bar - that's why i didn't see it. I just wanted to record a video to show you but then noticed it's actually there.

Reset do default layout doesn't help - it's always appearing on the top. no matter where i move it and where i last used it, it's appearing again on the top between the buttons.

AFAIR it's always been near the move handles and that's where it fits best for me.

Any ideas?

I see exactly the same thing.  It appears at the top of the screen.

Thanks for reporting this, I can reproduce now that I know what I'm looking for. The HUD is showing at the top-center of the workspace after selecting a body or component in the Move command. The HUD position doesn't appear to be retained between feature activations. I'll see what I can find out about this behavior and report back. Thanks for sharing!

Kind Regards,
