Locking down the shape of a surface

I am working with some imported surfaces.  I have used these surfaces for the base of my design.  I would like to use the "Press/Pull" tool to modify my design, but I do not want the original surfaces to change (if that makes sense).

Is there a way for me to lock or fix the surfaces that I do not want to participate in the "Press/Pull" command?

TIA,

Kirk

Kirk,

There is a post in the IdeaStation that I wanted to share since it seems to relate to this topic. It looks like the 'selectable/unselectable' functionality is the closest thing we have at the moment. If you like this suggestion you may give it some 'Kudos' to raise

Thanks,

One thing I found I could do with my part, was move the imported surface to a new component. Then it does not get selected when I edit the tspline.

I gave the Ideastation suggestion Kudos.

Thanks
