Centerline between projected curve

I have projected two edges from a surface onto a sketch plane.  I need a centerline between the two curves.  I cant just offset the edge a given amount because you can see that it would not put the offset line in the center in places along the curve.

 The construction line on the left has been offset from the bottom curve just to see how it would look.

I dont really see anyway to do this other than to sketch a spline curve, but thought that I would ask.
