Choppy image

I do simple renderings using Showcase. I have used it at my last job and the images came out great for what i needed. I am doing the exact same thing at my new job but my images come out choppy. I typically render using Realistic+ visual style with anit-aliasing on high. For some reason the lines are choppy along with shadows. With both places I have not changed the settings, so they have always been default. Can this be something with my graphics card?

Thanks,

Thats a helpful hint, but my issue is with shadows and the edges of the objects being choppy.

can you post an image?

Have you tried File>Setting>Performance and Quality> Automatic Quality Control  , setting it to an max level?

try going to appearance -> directional light and shadow -> rise the quality of the shadow

the shadow setting worked for me, so thanks for that. The image still seems a little shoppy and blurry. I did this one at 1920x1080, resolution 2000, and Anti-Aliasing at high. My automatic quality control is set to high as well.

1920x1080 resolution 2000 means nothing..
it means you have an image smaller than 1 inch..

go through centimeters..

like a4 format ( 21x29.7 cm) at 200 dpi antialiasing at maximum.
