Hi Guys,
I have a high poly mesh that I have baked out a normal map to use on a base mesh in 3ds max. The base mesh is level 0 of the high poly baked mesh. I beleive everything is good. The result in Mudbox looks really good.
Its and old wooden work bench. In mudbox it looks amazing. Base mesh rendered out in 3ds max with normal map applied it looks very average. I have tried multiple settings in normal bump slot.
Any suggestions?

Could you share some print-screens, or even better a sample file from 3ds Max and Mudbox.
