audio mapping Sync

Hi!

I'm having a problem in the Action node, I've import audio file for mapping to a value.

It doesn't sync with the audio in timeline that I've slip the timing to 320 according in the Action node.

The wave in the Action node seems slower.

Here's some pictures for your reference.

Out point at frame 307.

and also slip to -320 frame.

Which is at the time line also slip 320 frame.

Please advice~

Thank you

Andrew

Hmmm.. not sure... It appears to be matching the peaks in the Action waveform display in teh channel editor... but that is kind of a rough guide and not sure how accurate it is.

Does it matter if you select CLIP as your audio reference in Action instead of FILE?  You may need to duplicate your timeline, make it a source clip and drag it in to CFX to be referenced.

Also, is your import file 44.1 k or 48K  the speed difference might be a smale rate one.

I was just having a similar problem yesterday (I think).

When trying to analog scrub audio in action, it was scrubbing from the begining of the timeline.

If I went to the audio tools in the animation tab and played back, it would playback the correct area of the timeline that I had sent to connectfx/action.

Hi BKM,

Just wondering cant do it with File Import method, and the file is 48KHz.

Anyway, I did it with clip duplicate and working fine.

Thanks a lot!
