anyone having problems installing mudbox 2015?

mine fails to install. it doesn even start for more than 1 second then it fails.

yes I am having the same issue,  seems to do something with

Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable (x86)    Failed

i had to edit the setup.ini to have the installer not to install that

yes its safe

here is my edited setup.ini for Mudbox 2015

make a backup of yours just rename it and replace it with the one in the .zip file

C:\Autodesk\Autodesk_MBX_2015_English_French_German_Japanese_Win_64bit_dlm

after replacement try running the install again

assuming this is from the extracted download from the subscription website

Mine installed successfully.  The only beef I have is three bugs I wanted fix and their not fixed. There are fixes, I have to try, while others are geared towards those not looking for a little advanced control in Mudbox.

Three bugs which I have a case number for, they were not major bugs or issues, but I would have liked to see them addressed !

First I want to say, that there is only one bug, the other two are feature request unless they were not filed as a feature request, want to know what they are as well ? And unless they fixed the bug(s) and renamed it other then the bug number I have one of them is, Increase tolerance for degenerated faces (bug)
