Thomson "Simon the Ogre" + Latest Flame

Finally released after a long journey of more than 4 months from concept work to finish and quite a challenge but I believe the amount of love we have put into the project is visible.

The project used the very altest Flame and it was instrumental (specially the new warp tools) to actaully make it possible at all... truly challenging but hopefully you guys won't notice where the ogre face is CG or prostetic or any of the other massive amount of CG done.

I will be putting together a little technical making of as I believe we have managed to marry successfuly the state of the art prostetics work done by Vincent Van **** with our sophisticated CG work.

Very proud, hope you like it as much as I do.

Lovely work Jordi. I spent most of the ad wondering when some crazy CG was going to show up, so consider me fooled. Haha.

I am very proud of the fact that in many shots I suspect nobody will believe me when I point the whole face is fully CG while others is fully prostetics... Quite a journey but I believe we did a lot of things right and choosing Flame for the final composite was great.

We also used a clever yet obvious trick to keep a live timeline so we could really quickly refresh all published shots and flame will automatically update the timeline which proved faster than Hiero and sharing it with Smoke was great.

Nice plug for Flame considering all the shots of the VFX artists shows they were working on Nuke 😛

Great job though. Looks fantastic!!
