Tangent Element on Flame

If I have Flame (not Flame Premium/Lustre) can I use the Tangent Element with the built-in Color Corrector?

Hi Bob.

The Tangent Element support is a Flame Premium feature (not available in Flame).

Sorry but that's just dumb.  Why?

 

These things are just overgrown keyboards.  Smoke has 3rd party panel support, and cost a fraction of a fraction of what I paid for my system.  Hell, Black Magic wants to sell you their own $30k panels, yet still has Tangent panel support in their FREE product.

 

Why is this a "premium" function?
