Smoke on Mac 2012 SP3

Dear Autodesk -

I am keen on buying a licensed version of this Smoke on Mac 2012 SP3. Will intend to run on the new MAC PROs when launched in India.

Kindly suggest the way forward.

There may be a more official response but I would bet that it won't run well or at all under Mavericks on the new Mac Pro. Based on the 2013 issues.

As Brian has said, Smoke is not currently supported on OS X Mavericks, on any Mac model.

Since NAB 2014 has there been any announcements yet for support for 2012 SP3 version on OS Mavericks and new Macpro.

Any suggestions on a systems integrator in New York - New Jersey area.

Basically looking at an official dealer - reseller to supply the following -

Smoke 2102 SP3 on new MacPRO with OS Mavericks.

This setup will moved - atleast the Macpro and portable thunderbolt storage between New Jersey - Mumbai depending on production schedules.

I will repeat what the others have posted on this thread.

Smoke 2012 will never be supported on Mavericks or the new Mac Pro.

We released a service pack to run Smoke 2013 EXT 1 and Smoke 2013 on Mavericks.

The newly announced Smoke 2015 will run on Mavericks and the new Mac Pro.
