Smoke for Mac Configuring XR 300 Smoke Linux 2010 Disk Array

Hi We are looking to setup up our new Smoke for mac with our Old Linux 2010 Smoke Disk Array Using a Apple 4gb Dual Fibre Channel Card..

We can not see the XR 300 Disk Array on the mac or mount the disk on the mac.

The Mac Fibre channel utility tell the Array is link to the Card.

Any help on this??

Thanks,

I am not tech support but are you able to see the array on a Mac OS level. If you are, are you able to format it as HFS+?

Grant

Hi Carlos.

Try the instructions in this KB article: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=15403357&linkID=9242618
Once you get Mac OS to see the array under volumes, you can install Smoke and tell it to use that mount point as its media storage.

Robert.

HI I look into the Link you posted but the problem is that the disks on the XR 300 will not show up in the Disk utility to create the RAID.

Any help on how can we get the MAC using the Apple 4g Dual Fibre Channel PCI Express Card to see the Enclosure XR 300 via the Fiber Channel Card??

Regards and Thanks..
