Sketchbook Pro update

Hi,

I downloaded the latest version of Autodesk Sketchbook Pro 2011 (5.1) this morning, and ran the install. However, when I check the 'about' details of the program, it shows the version as 5.0. Is it supposed to be like that?

Thanks,

John

Interesting. Just found out about this update.

So the proper procedure is to uninstall SBP 2011 first, then install the "update"? We can't just install the update over the previous install?

OK, I'll uninstall the old version. If it doesn't work, you'll hear from my lawyers!

:-P

Thanks for the coffee...

OK, I've uninstalled the old version, and installed the new. That seems to do the trick. A tad bit archaic, but hopefully Autodesk will make it less arduous in future. For now, check the paraffin level, crank the lever and hope for the best.

Joe, for you, the world!

Just checked your site. Are all those illustrations done with Sketchbook Pro? They are simply FANTASTIC, my friend. Wish I could draw like that.

Do you make use of a Cintiq? Did you study art somewhere? Do you make use of reference materials?

Sorry for all the questions, but I'm burning to grow in my illustration skills, and don't really know how.

Great work man!

Does anyone have the whatnots or a link to what this update entails, or are we suppose to magically guess through our ESP (like in the case of the update)?

There is a changelog, but I can't seem to find it now. I think it may have popped up right after I installed the latest version.
