I have far fewer problems running 2015 SP1 on Mountain Lion than Mavericks. The Mavericks machine seems to "stick" every now and then - not to the extent that it did when I was running a Fusion drive, but still a little annoying. I probably wouldn't go back to 2013 unless there was a compatability issue - more features that I need in 2015.
