NEW Flame Premium 2015 Video - Digital Make Up with Extended Bicubics

Hi All,

I hope that you are well!

I have posted a video showing you the workflow of using extended bicubics for digital retouching.

Good for the face and the body and has many applications.

I can not replicate this effect in Flame Assist. Is it only a Flame Premium technique?

Hi Patyak,

As far as I was aware, the features that are required to perform the techniques shown in this video are only available in Flame and Flare. Not Flame Assist.

Grant_Kay, thank you for such a quick response. I am transitioning over to Smoke / Flame Assist from Avid DS and your tutorials have been incredibly helpful.

Do you have any suggestions on how to do simple corner pinning of a 2D object that is not full raster using Flame Assist?

For a simple corner pin, you should be able to set the surface to bilinear and track the 4 vertices to the image.

Its very difficult for me to say exactly what to do since I cant see what you're trying to do.

Hope this helps.
