Cropping image sequence in Composite

As the title says, how this can be done in Composite?
Crop tool looks good, works fine and then on output, it has no effect!

So is it really that there is no easy way of cropping parts off the image sequence in Composite?
Meaning I have rendered images which I want to crop to minimum, only showing actual character, nothing else. Thats for saving space on final project.

Can you please describe exactly what you are looking for and exactly how/where you are cropping the footage? If you could show some images of what you want cropped and screen grab of the current settings you are using.
