Clip is locked by batch setup

Hello

Somehow I have managed to lock a clip in batch, it won't allow me to delete the clip or the reel it is in. I have tried to delete it from the batch setup and it still won't let me delete the clip.

Help

Hi,

The only way to delete a clip from the batch setup area in the media panel is to delete the clip from the Batch Schematic.

If that does not work, are you able to clear Batch?

Regards

Grant

Hi Grant

I deleted the clip from the schematic, still wouldn't let me delete it from
desktop, I cleared the batch and still wouldn't let me delete off desktop.
I was fiddling with the TW on that clip in batch, if that helps.

Thanks
Charmaine

Hi Grant

No I am not able to delete desktop, I get a warning: Desktop contains locked clips.

I have rebooted the flame, I saved the batch setup onto the network and deleted the batch setup from my project and it still won't let me delete the clip, weird indeed, guess I will have to keep it on the desktop for the remainder of the job?

Thx
Charmaine

Hi,

You should be able to right clip on the clip and unlock it.

Once unlocked it could be deleted.

Let me know.

Grant

Hi,

Try to double click in your clip in BXF.

Between "timing Offset" and Override Alpha", you have got something like "clear history", or something like this.

I'm not on the machine...

Click on this and then, you can delete your clip!

Hi Guys

Thanks for the advice.

I eventually copied my reels and setups into a new project, leaving the locked clip in an unsaved reel, and then deleted the project. So I can't test the theories.

Thanks for your help.
