Cant Activate Smoke 2015

When I try to Activate Smoke 2015 the installer just wont accept my license. Started fresh including a reinstall of 10.9.2. I received ab email with a new serial number but if I use it or the old one the installer just keeps asking for a serial. I get an error code in red letters. I will type the error code as soon as I get home

When you install smoke, it is important that you correctly select the license type that matches your serial. ie. standalone or network.

You will need to uninstall and reinstall smoke to change this. I think you have a network serial, so make sure network is selected when entering serial.

Hi Julio.

 

Also make sure you are using the new 2015 serial and not the previous 2013 serial.

It might be a good idea to log into the Subscription Center and copy the 2015 serial nubmer again, in case there was a glitch in the e-mail for some reason.

 

Go to your product download page, click 2015 and then click the "Serial Numbers" tab to get the S/N.

I thought there was no more network license. Maybe thats the reason

Ok. I will try reinstalling Smoke setimg it up with a Network License and using the new SN. Thanks!

If I remember well, I read somewhere that the network license is gone from 2015, only standalone. Is this right? So why are we still getting network licenses? I really prefer standalone licenses, network licensing is a big head ache.

The upcoming desktop subscription version does not have networking licenses, but the smoke 2015 perpetual version, everything remains the same.

Cant Activate Smoke 2015 - Serial Number is correct but just times out ?

 

On asking for the serial number and product key it says its correct and on clicking activate just times out, seems to connect to autodesk to verify serial ... goes back to same screen ?

 

Any suggestions ?
