Adding vertices to an object in Paint

Hi folks,

I'm looking at creating neon tubes following a text layout.

So, I'm in Paint drawing an open shape polygon and I can't work out, once I've finished an object, how to add more vertices if required.

Also, I believe these objects are saved as Geometrys... can I load masks or paths in from other modules? I can't seem to get that to work either.

Cheers

hi,

i guess you have to keep "A" pressed & "drag" a new point off an existing one (in poly-drawing direction) - for delete the opposite.
you can save the geoms, but the only exchange is to import these as flat shapes into action - no way into paint that i know of

Great! never knew that shortcut. It's funny with Smoke if you happen to not know a shortcut it can really throw you 🙂

Slightly weird how it doesn't add a vertex on a path, just drags a copy of one out? it doesn't even copy out an end of the line vertex butone before the one you copy.

Is this how it's supposed to be?

Thanks.

Paint is a magical tool... 😉

I guess that is how it works for the moment.
