3D monitoring on ultrastudio 4k

Good Morning
I have a smoke 2013 ext 1 in an iMac 2013 latest gen, Mac OS 10.8.5 and an UltraStudio 4k connected through thunderbolt.

Can i monitor my stereoscopic 3D 1080i50 workflow using a tv Samsung 3D c8000?

I have the line By line option in the tv, but when i set up smoke to be the same, the tv greys out the option. Maybe it support side By side only.

Is it possible to do the Dual Output option (left and right on two SDI) and use a converter, like AJA HI-5 3D, to obtain the side By side?

Or there is a setting i missed?

Thank you very Much for your time.

Gabriele

I cannot speak to the Blackmagic devices.

All of my research has indicated that Smoke on Mac 2013 Ext1 cannot output independent left eye and right eye stereo over SDI.  I am looking for the same functionality.  It does not exist yet.

Hi,

I believe that Smoke can output an anaglyph or interlaced stereo output.  There is no support for a separate SDI output per eye.
