If the dashboard and hubs are meant to hold useful information and comments about a design, it would be very helpful to see that whilst you are working on that design.
Tiling the tabs would seem the most familiar way to do this.
For those of us with multiple monitors it might be preferable to have the dashboard on one screen whilst you model on another.
