1:1 without borders + 2D Drawing view export to SVG and DXF

If you're running a laser cutter or a vinyl cutter and using Adobe's products to do the pre processing, then this isn't too much of an issue (found it's best to export as PDF, then delete the borders etc.), but otherwise, it'd be handy to have the drawing tools allow you to export a layout as SVG or DXF without the borders or anything else cluttering up the file. They could then be pulled straight into the cutter software.

At the moment, I'm running some tests with a Cricut Explore for creating flat forms that are folded and assembled into shape - but the same applies to the use of a laser cutter or, I guess, a router). Idea is to use some wizardry with rendering tools to build a very rudimentary version of a holobox/peppers ghost type contraption that'll flat pack into an envelope, will assembly above/beneath an ipad and will give you a faux-3D hologram for bugger all money.

There is another way you might get yo what you need.

In the 3D Fusion design you export any sketch as DXF. this is a 1:1 export. 

You could put a sketch on a face, project any other geometry so it becomes sketch geometry and then export the sketch as DXF.

Might avoid having to make the drawing too if all you want is to drive 2 axis machines?

Ther ar now way to export DVX from Fusion 360 for Mac. Ovnly IGES, SAT, SMT

and STP. When the Fusion 360 Mac can I then eksport to DXF?

Sketches can be exported as DXF from the browser.  Right click on the sketch and select Save as DXF.
