The requested DWF is not valid.

8/5/2013
------
Hello, i have tried to use Freewheel for a dwf display om our intranet.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
<iframe scrolling="no" width="800" height="600"
src="http://freewheel.autodesk.com/dwf.aspx?path=http://autocad.ipw.imtech.nl/werken/kamperland/dolf1.dwf">
</iframe>
------------------------------------------------------------------------

The URL autocad.ip.imtech.nl/werken/kamperland is on our intranet. And we have a connection to internet.

So http://freewheel .... etc. is valid.

See my error_picture.jpg
This dwf is a export of rac_basic_sample_project.rvt from Revit 2013

question: What is the problem with freewhweel and this application?

Thanks for your time!

Dolf

I was able to load teh DWFx fiel directly into Autdoesk Freewheel. That worked so we know Revit is producting a valid DWFx file.

Thank you for your response. That is correct. A direct loading of the file works fine.

See webpage-3d-oke.jpg

But with the

<iframe scrolling="no" width="1000" height="800"

src="http://freewheel.autodesk.com/dwf.aspx?path=http://autocad.ipw.imtech.nl/werken/

kamperland/rac_basic_sample_project.dwfx">

</iframe>

i get only a fault see webpage-3d.jpg.

Is there no error.log for freewheel or something else what i can do in this case?

I hope to build a correct intranet with freewheel.

Thanks in advance.

I was able to see the same results you did:

So there is something going on with the Freewheel processing. I wish I had better news, but Autodesk Freewheel and Autodesk Design Review are in their sunset periods. We ate not actively working on them. Instead of having people export file into DWF format, we are concentrating on having those people collaborate on the data in its native format using web-based services. For example AutoCAD 360 uses DWG.

I do not recommend building a brand new web site based on old Autodesk Freewheel technology. You may wish to look at using Autodesk 360.

Yes Autodesk 360 is a good idea by me.

Sadly, I cannot use your suggestion because my compagny forbid use of Cloud applications.

Perhaps i have to use 3D with Adobe drivers.

The working of the dwg - pdf driver in Autocad works fine.

Why not rvt - pdf for Revit?

Rather old fashion stuf in Revit.

Sadly business.

Autodesk Freewheel is a cloud-based application.

Sorry, but you mean a internetserver based programm.

For a cloud computing i need to a  logon to a cloud and use a server from Autodesk or a softwareproces on a external server.

We want to protect our data.

"for our eyes only"  🙂

Autodesk Freewheel is powered by our servers outside of your firewall that run in our data center in Texas.
