Printing to scale from Freewheel

Any news on advanced printing capabilities from Freewheel? I would use this tool daily if only I could print my drawings to scale from it!

Thank you for your request. We can consider it for
a future version of Project Freewheel. We know printing a key part of
construction, mechanical, and geospatial workflows.

I think by the time a child is 21 they should at least be honestly told
there really is no Santa Claus. How long do you plan to treat these people
like chumps trying to keep them from learning the facts regarding the
pragmatic impossibilities of Internet printing?

Project Freewheel is a technology preview. It uses just the browser. The
browser has limited access to the printing environment. What we need is a
print server. The print server would know all about the printing device and
make those attributes available over the web via an internet protocol. The
Project Freewheel server could call the print server (installed at the
customer location), get the attributes, and be able to scale the image to
the paper size, taking the exact margins into account. I know browsers can
print to any printer on your network. Your browser can communicate with the
printer. To my knowledge, our Freewheel server cannot.
