Thank you for your feedback.
With regard to the session name, we may need to do something different. Our
original vision was that a user would start a session, give it a name, and
be able to easily relay that name to someone over the phone without any
hassle. So I might pick a name like "lucky banana," call someone up and say
go to Project Freewheel, use Share->Join and enter "lucky banana." It would
be that simple. No password. No user name. No nothing. (A user does need a
login but not supplied by the person who is making the invitation. In
addition a user can optionally require a session password if they are
collaborating on nuclear power plants or other sensitive data.) In practice,
people are not using unique names like lucky banana and all of the popular
ones have been taken.
Project Draw sends email links of the kind you mention. We may need to make
Project Freewheel behave similarly for the reasons you point out.
Please keep the suggestions coming. I get graded on how many suggestions we
get. 🙂

Still need below post answered - but I installed this on a virtual PC and
here are a few thoughts:
First of all - it works great - very fast and efficient
When I tried to create my first test session it said the session name was
already in use - can this be by user rather than across the whole site?
Sharing via email seems to be linked to Windows default email client. As
this is a virutal PC I am not setting up Outlook. The problem is there is
NO WAY to get the info from Freewheel that needs to be sent to someone else.
It keeps trying to launch Outlook and I keep canceling it. Would be nice if
there was a pop-up that I could copy/paste into an email. I imagine this
would be especially problematic for people who use only web mail.
More to follow as I test this out. What a great concept - keep up the good
work!
