Model Units Issue

Hi

I imported a palm tree model in .sat, but I wasn´t sure about the drag force, so I notice that the dimensions of the wind tunnel wasn't congruent whith the size of the model. I put the same units of the model in the flow design program.

      Thanks for your help.

Interesting model.

SAT (ACIS) neutral formats can be scaled unexpectedly depending on the file history, ie. where it was created and how it was written out.

What is the intended height of the tree? You can change the "model dimensions" menu to rescale the model. It looks like "Feet" or "Inches" may be the right model dimension in this case.

Thanks,

Jon

Thank you for your response

Apparently the model is in inches, but I´m not still sure about the drag force. By the way, this model pretends to simulate the wind force of an artificial palm tree on a telecom monopole.  palmera 4.png
