Open files that have created with raster images

AutoCad2008 I used cannot open files that have been created with raster images. Maps that we use are downloaded using the Raster Image command. Color line layers are created and placed on top of raster images, then these drawings are saved as files to be used for our work. These files have been created by our staff at work and we all have access to these files through our networking system. My AutoCad 2008 has been recently installed replacing an older AutoCad. Everyone else can open these files except from my PC. When I select a file using the open command the whole image file shows in the small preview screen, but when I select to open, the drawing does not download the Raster Image, only the layers that have been created with my AutoCad2008.
