Lines plotting as Arcs, PDF_Creator, R2009 Dwg to PDF - FILE

We have an issue that has only cropped up twice so far but it's bewildering to say the least.

The attached drawing when plotted to PDF using either available printers displays circular lines where there should be Lines, I have tried recreating this to no avail.

My colleague informs me the outer channels are direct offsets from the inner island, this island was created from two circles and tan/tan xlines then trimmed back and polyedit-joined.

The baffling thing is that using the Pdf (adobe) creator it produces the arc glitch, dwg to pdf does not but creates misaligned streaks in the lineart and if I plot to DWF or paper I don't get either issue but open DWF and plot to PDF(Adobe) again creates the misaligned lineart as the dwg to pdf does. I'm struggling to find out any reason as to why this has occurred, the only sure fix seems to be to remove and re-create the geometry from scratch.

Performing an overkill, explode and polyedit all fail. No errors, Audit says none - I have run out of ideas Has anyone else had or seen this, or maybe can shed some light on this?
