Hi, I'm using 3ds max 11 to create my models and then export to FBX for game engines. Now in 3ds max when applying a standard material with diffuse maps that has some transparent areas, those areas will show diffuse color of the material. By changing the diffuse color, only the transparent parts will change color. But in game engines like unity changing diffuse color puts hue of for example red color on the model and the areas that I wanted to change color remains black. Any idea how should I fix it? Thanks.
