Though the years I have sat down and said "ok, its time to learn this program." Every time I do I remember why I gave up before. It is by far the most glitchy hackjob of a program I have ever used and I cant find a source of tutorials that is worth a crap to convince me otherwise. I dont get why Autodesk cant just put out some videos that allow us to get some use out of it if it really works. No one I know through school or work has any luck with it so I really have no one to ask technically about the program. If anyone has some links to tutorials that work I would really appreciate it.
I have learned to use with the tutorials that incorporates the program and manuals. But keep in mind that one thing is knowing how to use Ecotect, and quite another to know to apply or interpret the results. And a so divinely program overall, not accurate necessary to us as architects is an indispensable tool for our design phases.
