Huge difference between Ecotect and Radiance illuminance results

Hey there!

I'm having a whole sort of problems in calculating illuminance levels in Radiance. First the artificial lights wasn't even showing until i discovered they were, but the light produced by them were just ridiculously low.

The problem i'm having now is derivated by the solution i found for the previous one. Since i can just tweak the scale of the rendering so the lights would produce more or less light. How do i know which scale represents the real life condition!? How can i say the simulation can be trusted if i can simply tweak the result in order to fake any sort of result i want?

Am i missing something here? Is there a specific scale i should be using? Am i drawing the whole thing in an inapropriate scale? Should i be modelling it using 1 unit = 1 meter instead of 1 unit = 1milimeter?

I'm sending some links for images that can be helpful to understand my problem. I'd apreciate any help on this matter.

I don't know if you should be altering the scale. One thing I notice is that your analysis grid appears to be sitting right on top of the floor. I would raise it an inch or so and rerun.
