Compatibility of Ecotect and Windows 8.1 (Visualise Tab)

Hi all, 

I am experiencing issues with Ecotect since I upgraded my computer to Windows 8.1.

While I still can open the program, the Visualise Tab is no longuer displaying anything.

Did anyone else run into this issue?

Any fixes?

I read on Inventor/Autocad forum other compatibility issues with Windows 8.1 that could be solved thanks to dll files.

Anything similar with Ecotect?

Hi Caroline, 

I do not have an issue with my Ecotect 2010 and Windows 8.1, i.e., the VISUALISE page does show up.

Can you try to go to the Display menu > OpenGL rendered view?

Sometimes, OpenGL needs to get initialized before that page shows up, at least it used to be the case with older version of Ecotect.
