I'm working with Ecotect 2011 32 bit and while the software is analysing, the CPU usage doesn't go more than 17% and it takes too much time to analyse a simple Solar access analysis on a surface which has been divided 3 by 8 (a 3*8 grid) . . . some time around 1 hour for a simple analyse. I was wondering if anyone here knows what the problem is . . .
Ecotect doesn't have any support for multi-threading, hence why you get the slow performance. I guess your processor can handle up to around 6 (?) threads which explains your CPU usage of around 17 % (100 / 6 = ~17 %)
Autodesk does not even seem to lift a finger to fix it either
