Missing nHair assign hair system menu - Maya 2014

Hello. Where can I find the nHair menu and the Assign Hair System option in Maya 2014? I know it should be under dynamics, yet it isn't there. I tried reseting my Maya preferences but it didn't help. I do have something about nHair on my shelf, but it doesn't have the Assign Hair System command I need. I'm including an image of my workspace so you can see what I'm talking about.

you should not look in dynamics menü for nhair, instead look in "ndynamics" menü.

assign nhair system to selection is the first button in the nhair shelf, so you don't need the nhair menu at first place...
