Bifrost - possible to remap the particle colors?

Is it possible to remap the blue - white ramp of the particle display? Using my own color ramp? Thanks

Hello,

If I understand the question correctly, then yes, you can change the colors in the ramp for Bifrost Particles.

To do this you need to go into the bifrostShape Node in the Attribute Editor

Expand 'Display' make sure Particles is checked

Expand 'Particle Display'

Expand 'Color Channel Remap'

This will bring up the Ramp adjustment.

Is this what you are looking for?

Cheers,

Karen

Thanks I can do that, but is the remap for particles or voxels? I can choose different colors but it doesn?t change the preview.

Hello Gary,

Yes, if you follow my steps exactly you will see that the particles change.

Make sure Particles is turned under Display (turn off voxels)

Click on the arrow next to the Color Channel Remap to expand the ramp (its sort of hidden when you first look). The Voxels color is below this.

See image attached.

Cheers,

Karen
