Been working on a dynamic block stair pan steel construction and am very green to making dynamic blocks.
basically i'd like to set the length and height of the stair using an XY parameter
set the height of the stair pan to the nosing line that is created
and pull a polar grip across the line created using an array action to make repeating pans.
i have the first two parts taken care of but am falling short with the array action.
my problem is the array action gets set to two distint points and all i need is for these two points to change with the angle of the line that is created by the XY parameter. attached is what ive gotten so far.
anyone with help or insights would be much appreciated. maybe im going at this the wrong way?

This has been tried before.
The issue is (if I am reading you right) is adjusting the Array.
Array's are static so it cannot be done.
Search for Stairs in this Froum and you may find some other help as well.
As Charles Shade pointed out, you can never have parameters and actions created for each new array.
There are however other ways to it, for example you can control how many steps the stair should be and then just stretch it between 2 points so the X,Y for each step is equal. Or you can control the amount of steps with visibility and have several lookup parameter control the properties.
Just throwing some ideas, good luck.
thanks for your help guys, it doesnt seem like a very difficult operation to constrain the array to stay on the line that i set with the XY parameter but makes sense that it cannot be done.
this is the simplest solution i came up with using visibility states. it works just fine its just not as cool as pulling the grip and seeing the perfect sized stair pan show up.
