dynamic door issue

Hey guys,

I'm working with this dynamic door for a while now and everything worked fine till now...

Lately though it really acts strange and I don't know what to do about it. The text for the doorwidth and hight doesn't move to it's correct position. Also when I update it with "_attsync" or try to input it new it won't update to the correct position.

Any idea how to solve this problem?

thanks folks,

cheers Klingi

I've got your drawing open here. How exactly do you want the text to react?

The text should always align with the line in between, no matter if you rotate, scale or flip the block.

if your burst the block you see where the text should sit correctly...

Have you tried it with the Lock property turned off for the attdefs?

just tried the "Lock property", didn't solve my problem... Smiley Sad

I put two of the same blocks in the drawing so you can see the difference, altough it is exactly the same block...

really strange behaviour. The thing is, that it doesn't do this with every block in the drawing and because I already used quit a lot of them I don't want to redraw all of them by hand...

Highlite the Door on the right in you last post. Geometry: Why is the Scale X value -1?

Change it to 1, Reset the Block and everything should be good.

Did you Mirror at some point and grabbed the Mirrored Block to copy perhaps?

I wasn't expecting such an easy solution.  Smiley Wink

I don't know how this happened, but I guess my college mirrored the block at some point...

Thanks a lot for the help Charles
