Do a SAVEAS and under the File Name edit box in the Files of type: choose "Autocad 2000/LT2000"
You can type SAVEAS right at the command line, Also clicking on the big A in the upper left will give access to Save As > or is the problem you click on Save As and nothing opens?
Use command "+saveas"
Does no dialog box pop up at all? If you look at the command line is there a load of information there after the word save as?
If there is do the following
Press Escape a couple of times to get rid of it
Now type FILEDIA it will show <0> Just press 1 and then enter
Now when you do SAVEAS a dialog box will pop up.

Here's a handy hint to keep in your back pocket (or up your sleeve, or behind your ear...): when FILEDIA is 0 (turned off, whatever the reason may be), and you execute any command that would "normally" pop up a file select/browse dialog window, typing a tilde character (~, located at the upper left of the keyboard), followed by Enter, will bring up the file select/browse dialog window so you can finish out the command in the comfy way you prefer. Then you can turn FILEDIA back on later (as described in an earlier post), if you still feel you need it.
