Stretch a block problem

Hello

I have drawn a simple block that I want to stretch in two directions manually or from the properties palatte.

My block works fine once and then breaks down.  Stretch the block in the 'Y' direction. Deselect the block. Stretch the block again and only the grip moves. Edit the block and close the block, the block resets.

I know its going to be simple! Would some one advise me where I am in error.

Regards

I've attached a simple block I use for putting a frame and titles around images. Maybe you could adapt it for your needs.

Sorry I forgot to mention it's got two visibility states. One for Landscape images and one for Portrait. You might need to do a bit of fiddling to get rid of the text.

Delete the Constraints and remove the Hatch from the Stretch Actions.

Hatches are controlled by the Boundary that contains them and do not play well when included in Dynamic Actions.

Your DynBlk should work fine then.

Dear all

Thanks for the advice. I may have solved my problem.

When I created my first block, I added geometric constraints to the polyline and did not restrict the minimum dimensions.

I redrew the block with no restraints and restricted the minimum dimension to 10-mm and the block works fine.

Regards
