Remember that you can open the Dynamic Block that you are Inserting into the Drawing File and change the Value Set if needed for that Drawing File.
Example - The DynBlk is created with a Distance Maximum of 10 units but you need 20. Click the DynBLk so it is highlighted, type BE, highlite the Parameter and update using the Properties window. Save the DynBlk and make the adjustment in Modelspace. No need to change the source DynBlk.
I'm sure everyone does this from time to time but I thought it might be good to point out.
