You probably have a block within a block.
When you create a dyn block in a drawing and w-block it to a block
directory,
make sure you select the BLOCK option as the source, not the OBJECTS as the
source.
The OBJECTS method creates a block within a block, and upon reinsertion from
a block
directory will loose it's dynamics.

Sometimes, when one of my users goes to insert a dynamic block that I have
created, the block comes in with the attributes but not any of the special
DB actions. It's frustrating because it doesn't happen consistantly. Is
there maybe a sys variable that gets set that disables the dynamic features?
Any help would be appreciated.
