Lookup for a Shading

I made a Dynamic Block for Bathroom Fixtures, like toilets, lavatories, bidets, etc.
I use Visibility States to be picked for the fixture chosen.
It can then be flipped or rotated as needed.
What I'd like is a way to have a parameter that I could use that would shade these fixtures to show A.D.A. compliance.
I could easily add another series of Visibility States to indicate A.D.A. comliance, but that would double the number of State to be choose from.
Can I have one button to choose a fixture and another to show shading or not?
Should one of the buttons be a Visibility State and the other a Lookup?
I'm new to these Dynamic Blocks and Visibility States confuse me.
I could use some guidance.
I appreciate any comments.

You put a new spin on a widely discussed topic of
the DG - "Multiple Lookups". <G>

what you need to do is create a visibility state
for all the permutations of fixture/ ADA, fixture/ non-ADA.

Add 2 lookup tables (one grip for ADA and the other
for Non ADA), then set your visibility grip to zero.

Now you have one block with two grips that do what
you need with less clutter.

Joe,
Again thanks for your guidence.
I do not fully understand how it all works, but I did what you said and it works great.
I look forward to finding out more about Lookups.

So, I've got it all working wonderfully.
However, when a drafter inserts the block, there will be 2 triangles.
One for the Non-ADA, the other for ADA fixtures.
Neither triangle has any identification.
The drafter doesn't know which one to pick, until the first one is selected.
Is there any text that can be added near each triangle that won't print?
Am I missing the obvious?

You will officially begin to enjoy the exploration
of dyno blocks.

To put a Label on a LOOKUP grip: highlight the grip
in the block editor, then right click for properties. In the properties dialog
box under "Property Labels" there are three input field: LookUp Label, LookUp
Description String* and Parameter name.

* Enter a description "ADA" or
"NON-ADA"

Now when you hover over a grip a description
balloon tells the user what is what. Pretty cool, heh? <G>

Thanks for your quick reply.
I don't know what time it is where your are, but it's 7:40am here in Austin, Texas.
I've been here at the Office since 6:15am, trying to get this finished before the others get to work.
With your tip, I'll have it ready by 8:00am when the first start arriving.
Again, thanks, and yes, I am enjoying working with Dynamic Blocks.

Well, I did all you said, but the triangles show no description when highlighted.
I check my Tools/Options/Display and "Show ToolTips" is checked.
Am I missing some other setting?

We're still using Release 2007 because all of our consultants haven't updated.
See attached block.

Sorry I took so long. I suspect it is an option
that came along after 2007. I can't evean add descriptors after the fact. Until
you all move up a version I'm afraid the user will have to be told "top grip for
ADA" and vis- versa.

Good luck

Thanks again for your input.
Drafters like to complain about things that aren't "obivous" to them.
I was just trying to do my best while creating these Dynamic Blocks.
Of course, many of them have no idea how to create a Dynamic Block.
Well, someone has to make them.
Might as well be me.
