Linear parameter linked max distance

Is there a way to link the maximum distance of a linear parameter to a stretch handle.

See attached block. I want to restrain the line from going outside the stretching box (moving to the left (min. dist.) is OK, not so to the right (max. dist.). I'm stuck to input a maximum distance of the line's linear parameter. Can a Diesel Expression or link be use there?

If you have non-LT version of AutoCAD, the attached is one way to constrain it. There is no built-in way do it otherwise.
