Hyperlink Support?

Does the block editor support creating hyperlinked entities the block(s)
would be composed of?

If I understand your question right, I was able to add a hyperlink to the general properties of the block, or to individual objects within the block editor.

Thanks for your comments. That's good news. Once links are created how does
someone using the drawing know links are present and can be used as
hyperlinks? Can you describe for me what actually happens when a link is
clicked? What if anything does the editor do and how does the browser open?

Just for your info, you cannot add hyperlinks to parameters OR actions in
the blockeditor. only objects that compile the block.

AutoDesk has not changed the way hyperlinks are found or executed for Dynamic Blocks. Sorry:-)

You would have to read other posts on the topic to see where he's coming from on this. My basic understanding is that the hyperlinks have to be found (i.e. by placing the cursor over the objects). And in order to execute a hyperlink, one has to use the right-click menu. And that this setup detours people from using hyperlinking from AutoCAD. I'm sure that isn't the entirity of the complaint, but what seems to relate here mostly.

That's an interesting suggestion that warrants more review on the part of
anybody that is interested in working productively but it does nothing to
resolve the fact that AutoCAD/ADT has been crippled and apparently remains
crippled. This is unacceptable for customers who are being told by Autodesk
and their sycophants that "Everything is all right. Don't worry, AutoCAD/ADT
is not going away."

Furthermore, it must then be determined if Revit has a crippled
implementation as AutoCAD/ADT has had. Somehow, with my current
understanding of BIM I want to doubt Revit has been crippled in this context
as BIM will not be successful when support for Internet protocols has been
crippled.

>This is unacceptable for customers who are being told by Autodesk

it's also unacceptable to tell a Customer it's the software's fault. It's
not
the software thats crippled here; you seem to be missing the whole
"problem solver" part of programming. The FUN part...

which part of hovering over an object and pressing crtr + click to follow a
link can't you grasp.

since you seem to offer nothing in the way of help to this group, a good
thing,
why do you feel you have the right to come and complain whenever your
realizing
your abilities? Without even downloading the software and trying it first
for that
matter.

Enough is enough.

If you don't like it, quit using it.
