Dynamic Block Hurdle - Flip Action & Angle Offset

To all,

See attached drawing and picture:

I have created a DB of a downcomer. The dynamic block works the way I
want...except for one detail.
The downcomer is set at a 5deg angle (there for I adjusted the Angle and
Multiplier), but when I flip the BD, the stretch direction is incorrect!!!

How can I fix this? (Otherwise I will have to delete the Flip and create two
DBs)

Just add the "Stretch" action to the "Flip1" action's selection set.

Nice use of Mline here.

Aha -- Another exception to the "don't include actions in other actions" 🙂

I blame it on those picky flip parameters. They don't play well with others or like to follow the rules:-)

"Just add the "Stretch" action to the "Flip1" action's selection set"

That indeed solved the problem...I was looking at this for 'ages', just not
seeing the solution.

"Nice use of Mline here"

:-) Thanks!

I seem to have the same problem. But I dont understand the solution here.Smiley Indifferent

Flip action doesnt seem to flip the angle offset and so stretch works in the opposite direction.
To elaborate on the question I prepared a file.

/The answer in this thread is a mystery to me.
How do you add an action to another action's selection set? I cant seem to select actions as objects. They are like, flying little icons in the block editor free from model space /

hi! Set BACTIONBARMODE to 0. Then You can add ation to another action Regards Juris

...which is the easiest solution.

If you choose not to you can Right click the Icon and then have the options to choose to add or remove items to the Selection Set. This is additional steps beyond just using a simple Double Click that setting BACTIOBARMODE to 0 will allow.

Yes - You can use right click, but with BACTIONBARMODE=1 You can`t add action in another action, what is need in this case

...and No.

It's just a pain to do it that way. Basically you start over.
