I have a block for detail call-outs that I'm trying to convert to dynamic. I had it working well but wanted to add one feature. We use a lot of aerial maps on our plans which requires text masking. So I wanted to add the option to "mask" out behind my call-out block.
I added a visibility state with a Wipeout in one state and not the other. That part works well. But.......
THe block is set to "Normal" visibilty state by default. If the user changes it to "Background Mask" and then back to "Normal", the attributes disappear although the grips still show up. I've checked and as best I can tell, the attributes are in both vis states.
In addition, when I use the "Flip" action, the attributes do flip properly. But the grips associated with the attributes stay where they were pre-flip.
This is in 2012.
TIA!

I didn't do anything but adjust your draworder inside the dynamic block. send the mask to the back. Also, after saving the d.b. use the ATTSYNC command to update the attributes.
May I also suggest a bit of house keeping? I noticed you have redundant object on top of on another.
The reason for the grips not moving is that you have two copies of each of the attributes (bad juju - every attribute in a dynamic block needs its own unique name) and one of the sets of attributes is not flipped.

That's odd. That was my original suspicion. I could have sworn that I checked that before posting and only found the two attributes.
But if you say you see duplicates there, I'll assume you're correct. But I'll have to wait until Monday to deal with it.
