Complex Parametric Triangle - Is this possible?

Has anyone attempted to create a dynamic block of a parametric triangle with
2 boundaries?

Architectural Application - Triangle louver for the gable end of a house

Requirements:
1) Control the size of the outer boundary for width (base) and height (peak)
2) Inner boundary is parallel to the outer boundary and has a fixed gap
distance; inner boundary is chained to outer boundary
3) Set up a lookup table for different roof pitches

Thinking out loud here, the only solution I can reasonably come up with is
to use points and create an elaborate table for both the outer and inner
boundaries.

Any other ideas? I am trying to avoid using visibility states and nested
blocks.

Thanks,
John

Have you thought about using an MLINE for the inner and outer boundaries?

Hi Daniel,
Thanks! I couldn't see the trees through the forest. I keep forgetting
about Mlines. Now I have an application for them and it works!

Glad that little "nudge" helped! I must admit, I never use Mlines either.
